Testimonials
Since 1987, I have served the churches of the Union in various roles, such as pastor, assistant pastor, and evangelist in Rivière-du-Loup, Châteauguay, Moncton, and Richibouctou. Throughout this period, the Union provided me with ongoing support, particularly during a difficult phase of my life. In 1992, when I was going through a period of depression, the Union played a crucial role. Thanks to the insurance policy for Ministry workers of the Union, I was able to take the time needed to recover. Subsequently, the Union adapted my position by creating an evangelist position, allowing me to continue to serve before fully resuming my pastoral duties. I feel truly blessed to be a member of the Union team.
My experience at the Union can be summed up as follows:
Coaching and Training.
The Union prevented a division and even the disappearance of our church.
The Union accompanied us at our own pace, providing us with a pastor and a place to gather. Having become financially independent by the grace of God, we honoured this support by contributing 10% of our revenues to the church family, being a sign of our gratitude.
Over time, some of us have also served on the Board of Directors of the Union. We particularly appreciate the French-language resources offered by the Union, which are based on solid theology and adapted to various socio-cultural contexts. Despite the constant challenges, we remain grateful to God for His wisdom given to those seeking guidance.
